Paul teaches us in Ephesians that we, the church, are to build each other up in love (Ephesians 4:16). Although there are many ways we can build each other up in love, we have two ministries that we see as best facilitating this: Life Groups and Serving Teams.
Although Sundays at church are a great way to catch up with friends and family, they don’t always provide the best opportunities to share life together (i.e. praises, hardships and burdens, growth in love for God and others, and etc.). In light of this, we have established a Life Group ministry, which is simply groups of 10 – 15 people that come together weekly or biweekly, to live life and grow in love together.
Also we believe that God has gifted each of us to serve our church, community, and world, in differing ways. When all of us, with our different gifts and passions, are serving together, we have a body of people that can make a real difference. What follows is a list of areas of service at Walnut Grove Chapel.
