Believing that children are indeed a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), we seek to invest in the future by coming alongside parents, to assist them in establishing their children in strong Biblical values.
Through Bible character studies, we have found a great effectiveness in teaching our youngest children the basics of the Christian faith. The younger children’s classes most often focus on following the lives of varying people throughout both the Old and New Testament. Each week there are “focus verses” and activities for application.
As our children grow older we begin to introduce studies on individual books of the Bible. The students learn how to apply Biblical truths they learned as younger children, into their own lives. Life application is a major focus in this class, with a minor in having fun along the way.
Another key aspect of our Children’s Ministry is how we recruit and train up older kids to help lead the younger. This is a great way for some of the older children to learn responsibilities and be role models.
Our ministries to children include Children’s Choir, Sunday School, Junior Church, AWANA, and Summer Bible School.
